Howler Monkey - Alouatta caraya
They are the loudest of all primates. Their howl can travel for five miles through a dense forest. Howler Monkeys have prehensile tails or tails that grip. The monkeys use their tail have a fifth limb to grip branches. They spend 80% of their time resting. They rarely come down from the trees. Howler Monkeys get almost all of the water that they need, from the food that they eat.
This was captured at a zoo and this guy was up at the glass with his palm, as if he was trying to convey something.
