Description
Mutual Respect - Original Photography by Karol Livote
I named this image "Mutual Respect" because no matter what, I always have had respect for the wildlife and it seems like they understand that. They allow me to observe them as much as I want. I find myself missing some great shots sometimes, because I am just in "Awe" watching them. Many times there are more than one at a time and I find myself missing moments when my eye is in the viewfinder. I wish everyone could get the chance to witness what I have been able to witness. There really are no words for it!!
Taken in my backyard in Monroe, Connecticut.
This is one of the regular visitors to my property. I had not seen him in a couple of months. The brush is too dense, but I know they are in there. I cannot believe how much they have grown, including this one.
White-tailed deer- are found in Southern Canada and most of the United States. Adult weight ranges from 110-150 lbs. Feed on grass, twigs, buds, acorns, and a wide variety of hardwood treees and leaves from conifer trees such as white pine and hemlock.
