Acoustical Red metal print by Karol Livote.   Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

This is an Ovation Guitar, which I am very proud to say was made right here in Connecticut. It is an interesting story how this company was founded and the history behind it. As per Ovation's website, here is the story:

The story of Ovation guitars-and the ground-breaking technology behind them-begins with Charles H. Kaman, an aeronautical engineer known for his pioneering work in helicopter and aerospace design.

In 1945, Charles Kaman founded Kaman Aircraft, and in 1947 his company developed a radical helicopter that used inter-meshing rotors and Kaman's patented servo-flap control. In 1951, Kaman built the world's first gas turbine helicopter-an innovative aircraft now at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum.

Inspired by the world around me, I am sent out to capture moments in time, that I hope can find another's soul, the way it has captured mine! That is Karol Livote's motto! Karol's story is quite simple: When she was about ten years old, her sister gave her the first camera she would ever use. She took right to photography and could be found capturing burned out buildings, old boats and whatever else she could find. In her high school days, she was hardly seen without a camera in her hand. She participated in photography classes and had her own home darkroom. At that time, most of Karol's work consisted of capturing the essence of a person.
