Juvenile Herring Gull: Common seagull...usually white with gray wings and yellow beak. The juvenile takes about 4 years to look like an adult. The Herring gull loves to drop clams and shellfish from high above and crack them on the rocks below. They will nest in colonies and return to the site every year.

Karol's story is quite simple: When she was about ten years old, her sister gave her the first camera she would ever use.
