Ring-billed Gull-is a white bird with a yellow bill and a black ring near the tip. Yellowish legs and feet and grayish wings. A very common gull that eats insects, fish, and scavenges. Is mostly seen coastal, but can be seen in parking lots, garbage dumps and other areas more inland.

Captured this gull about to land at Gulf Beach in Milford, Connecticut. The surf in the background was breaking at the time.

Karol's story is quite simple: When she was about ten years old, her sister gave her the first camera she would ever use. She took right to photography and could be found capturing burned out buildings, old boats and whatever else she could find. In her high school days, she was hardly seen without a camera in her hand.
