The Trail At Roaring Point - Original; Photography by Karol Livote
This was taken while I was visiting Maryland. We were out and about and came across this beautiful hidden away park named Roaring Point State Park. The park is located on the Nanticoke River, in Maryland. It is a small (.8 of a mile) beach that views the lower Nanticoke River as it widens to reach the Tangier Sound and Chesapeake Bay. It is about 30 minutes outside of Salisbury, Maryland. We were heading to our destination, when I came across this park. So, I turned in, as I so often do when I am in a new place, cause you never know what you might find!
We lucked out because no one was there while we were visiting it. With it's beautiful trees, the sound of the birds and the small waves coming onto the shore, the sound of people would have taken away from the natural beauty of this small spot. Inspired by the world around me, I am sent out to capture moments in time, that I hope can find another's soul, the way it has captured mine! That is Karol Livote's motto! Karol's story is quite simple: When she was about ten years old, her sister gave her the first camera she would ever use.
